How to create a Meetup?
- In any chat screen in a Coffee House or a friend's conversation (e.g. via direct message or matching), you will be able to see a calendar icon at the bottom left corner. You can click it and put in Meetup Title, Date, Start Time, Venue etc to create a Meetup.
- If there's any special instructions for the Meetup, you can put it under "Remarks"
- If there's limitation on number of participants, you can set "Attendees Limits". After the registration hits the Max No of Attendees, members will not be able to join your Meetup.
- A Meetup is public by default with "Make Meetup Private" toggled off. You can share a link of the Meetup to friends or other members. Members will be able to see and join the Meetup via the link.
If you toggle "Make Meetup Private" on, only your Coffee House group, or people in your conversation will be able to see and join the Meetup. - After you've created a Meetup, all attendees will be added to a Meetup Chat. You can go to the Meetup Chat on the Meetup detail page if you are a host or you've joined the Meetup.
How to join a Meetup?
- You can see Meetups organized by members in the same Coffee House or conversation (e.g. direct message or matching). Near the top of the chat screen, you'll see a bar of the latest Meetup, with a "list" button in green. Once you clicked the "list", it will show all Meetups in the Coffee House or the conversation.
- Click the Meetup that you'd like to join to see the details.
- Click "Register" to join.
- Once you joined, you'll be added to the Meetup Chat. You can go to the Meetup Chat on the Meetup detail page if you are a host or you've joined the Meetup.
